Senator Fuschillo Congratulates Farmingdale State College on Its 100th Anniversary

Senator Charles J. Fuschillo, Jr. (R-Merrick) recently congratulated Farmingdale State College on reaching its 100th anniversary.
Senator Fuschillo presented Farmingdale State College President Dr. Hubert Keen with a legislative resolution he sponsored commemorating the milestone event. The resolution was recently passed by the New York State Senate.
Established on April 15, 1912, Farmingdale State College is the oldest public college on Long Island. With 37 different degree programs and an enrollment of over 7,000 students, it has grown into one of Long Island’s premier institutions for higher education.
“Farmingdale State College has reached an incredible milestone; 100 years of service to Long Island. It has grown tremendously, especially over the last several years, and I’ve enjoyed working with the College in supporting that growth. I have no doubt that Farmingdale State College will keep building on its many successes and continue to thrive for many more years to come,” said Senator Fuschillo.
