Senator Fuschillo, County Executive Mangano & Mayor Altadonna to Sponsor Property Tax Exemption Workshop in Massapequa Park

     Senator Charles J. Fuschillo, Jr. (R-Merrick), in partnership with County Executive Ed Mangano and Mayor James Altadonna, will be sponsoring a Property Tax Exemption Workshop on Friday, October 19th from 1 pm to 3 pm at the Massapequa Park Village Hall (151 Front Street, Massapequa Park).

     Exemption specialists from the Nassau County Department of Assessment will be equipped with computers linked to the county’s database, and property tax exemption applications for Basic STAR, Enhanced STAR, senior citizens, individuals with disabilities, veterans, volunteer firefighters and emergency medical technicians will be processed. County staffers will also provide assistance and answer any questions residents have about these exemptions.

     Homeowners who will be filing for an exemption should bring copies of any documentation that is required for the property tax exemption, including proof of age, proof of residency and proof of income.
