Senator Fuschillo, Department of Financial Services, & Village of Massapequa Park to Sponsor Program to Assist Hurricane Sandy Victims WITH Insurance Issues

Senator Charles J. Fuschillo, Jr. (R-Merrick) will be partnering with the New York State Department of Financial Services (DFS) and the Village of Massapequa Park in sponsoring a program to assist residents whose property was damaged during Hurricane Sandy.
Senator Fuschillo and the Village of Massapequa Park have arranged for DFS representatives to come to Massapequa Park Village Hall, located at 151 Front Street in Massapequa Park, on Wednesday, December 12th from 7-9 pm. Residents who need assistance with storm-related insurance issues will be able to speak individually with DFS representatives about their situation. Residents will be assisted on a first-come, first served basis. No appointments are required.
Individuals who are unable to visit Village Hall but need assistance with storm-related insurance issues can call the Department of Financial Services’ insurance disaster hotline at 1-800-339-1759. The hotline is operated 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
