Senator Charles J. Fuschillo, Jr. (R-Merrick) and representatives from Long Island Cares recently joined together to help families affected by Hurricane Sandy by sponsoring a free food and supply distribution program in Massapequa.
Senator Fuschillo and representatives from Long Island Cares distributed free food, water, cleaning supplies, and baby care products at the Alfred G. Berner Middle School to families in need following Hurricane Sandy.
“Through this program, families who are recovering from Hurricane Sandy were able to receive assistance to help them get through tough times. I thank Long Island Cares for partnering with me and providing an important service to the residents of this community,” said Senator Fuschillo.
