Senator Charles J. Fuschillo, Jr. (R-Merrick) recently met with CW Post student, and Merrick resident, Nicole Pitone to discuss the importance of community service.

Nicole, who is President of the college’s “Post TV” club, interviewed Senator Fuschillo about the importance of public and community service, as well as ways that individuals can get involved to help the community. They also discussed a service project the Club is organizing to benefit the Interfaith Nutrition Network, a local organization which provides assistance to those in need.

“I really enjoyed speaking with Nicole about community service and the club’s service project. It’s wonderful to see college students take such an active interest in helping others, and I’m certain that their service project will help make a difference in the lives of many families,” said Senator Fuschillo.
