Senator Fuschillo's Memorial Day Message

"On Monday, we honor the memories of those who gave their lives in defense of our nation.

Throughout America’s history, generations of men and women have stood up to the forces of tyranny and terror and fought to safeguard our freedom. Some are serving overseas right now, away from their families so we can be with ours. Many never returned home, having given their lives in defense of our country. Every one of these brave soldiers, sailors, airmen, and marines deserve our respect, appreciation, and gratitude.

As we join with loved ones at barbeques, parades, and family gatherings this Memorial Day weekend, take time to remember our veterans, especially those who gave everything in service to our nation. The freedoms and liberties we cherish would not be possible without them. We owe it to these heroes to always remember, and never forget, their service and sacrifices."
