Please Help the Victims of Hurricane Sandy

Hurricane Sandy has had a devastating impact on all of us.  So many of our friends and neighbors have lost their homes and just about everything they own and they are all in need of our help.

My office will be coordinating a supply drive and I ask that you please consider donating needed items. If you or anyone you know is able to make a donation to help, items can be dropped off at the Rockville Centre Recreation Centre, located at 111 North Oceanside Road in Rockville Centre.  As of right now, we ask that you limit your donation to the following items:

  • Underwear
  • Socks
  • Flashlights
  • Cereal
  • Bread 
  • Jelly
  • Canned goods -  Tuna,Vegetables,etc.  
  • Baby Formula
  • Baby food
  • Diapers
  • Paper towels 
  • Toilet paper
  • Soap
  • Baby wipes
  • Shampoo
  • Deodorant
  • Tooth paste
  • Tooth brushes 
  • Baby powder
  • Feminine Hygiene Products
  • Can openers
  • Pillows
  • Blankets
  • Cots
  • Pet food
