Senator Skelos & Long Island Cares to Sponsor Free Food and Supply Distribution Program in Long Beach

This Friday, December 21st, Senator Skelos and Long Island Cares will be partnering to sponsor a free food and supply distribution program in Long Beach to help families affected by Hurricane Sandy.
The program will take place between 11am and 2pm at Saint Mary’s Community Center located at the intersection of Monroe Blvd and E. Park Avenue in Long Beach. Representatives from Long Island Cares will serve families in need by providing the following items free of charge:
· Non-perishable food items
· Water
· Diapers & baby wipes
· Cleaning products
· Household items
· Coats
· Toys
Individuals will be served on a first come, first served basis. No appointments are required.
