Statement by Senate Majority Leader Dean Skelos

I am deeply saddened by the passing of Assemblyman Jim Conte. He was truly a brave and courageous man who dedicated himself to public service while also struggling to overcome health issues. While Jim Conte’s presence will be missed in Albany, his memory will live on for so many people whose respect, admiration and friendship he won through his service and commitment to his constituents.
