Senator Adams attended the Watchful Eye and Medgar Evers College Leadership Breakfast for National Black HIV/AIDS Awareness Day, for a discussion among clergy, elected officials and other leaders with the goal of re-energizing the leadership in the fight against HIV/AIDS. February 7, 2012 marked the 12th year for National Black HIV/AIDS Awareness Day, a national HIV testing and treatment community mobilization initiative targeted at Blacks in the United States and the Diaspora. Senator Adams provided an encouraging message of inspiration to those in attendance.
