Questions and Answers About the Senator Jack Martins 3-on-3 Basketball Classic and Events Taking Place on July 14th

Question:  When does my tournament form have to be in?

Answer:  A half hour before your division time tips-off on July 14^th.

Question:   Can I pre-register?

Answer:   Yes, simply mail or email your form to the address on the back of your entry form.

Question:  Does my form have to be complete?

Answer:  All forms must be fully complete, and accepted, verified and inspected by tournament personnel before you can be officially entered into the tournament. We reserve the right to object to applications.

Question:  Is there a fee to play?

Answer:  The entire day and ALL events are free. NO MONEY IS NEEDED.

Question:  Do I have to have a substitution on my team?

Answer:  No, you can enter with only 3 players.

Question:  Will there be a losers bracket?

Answer:  It is dependent upon the number of teams that enter into the tournament. It will be announced at the beginning of each division.

Question:  How long are games?

Answer:  Depending on the number of teams, it will be in the range of 15 minutes. In the case of a tie, sudden death of 2 minutes extra time will be played.

Question:  Is lunch included?

Answer:  Lunch, drinks, events and all things associated with the tournament including give-aways are free and are for all players and spectators until items run out.

Question:  Do you need uniforms?

Answer:  No, however, it might be in your interest to try to wear the same kind of t-shirt for your team.

Question:  Can I have a coach?

Answer:  All parents and coaches are NOT allowed on the court during the tournament. Any interference during games will be grounds for immediate disqualification.

Question:  Can Parents or Adults be on the courts during games?

Answer:  Adults, parents, guardians and the like must be on sideline and must adhere to the sportsmanship pledge that players sign at registration.

Question:   Are referee calls final?

Answer:  Referees are volunteers and do the very best possible job they have and makes calls based upon their judgement. Their calls are final and will not be over-ruled by Tournament personnel. If there are disputes on the court, the head referee will make a final determination upon consultation. Please remember, mistakes may happen, the objective of the day is to have fun!

Question:   Can I bring family and friends and just watch?

Answer:   Yes, this is a fun community day!
