For the second straight year, Senator Jack M. Martins was an active participant in the New York State Senate Unidad Latina Conference, which brings together hundreds of individuals who represent a cross section of our region’s Hispanic community, including community, business and policy leaders.
Presented by members of the New York State Senate, the conference featured booth exhibits, legislative workshops, networking receptions, a luncheon, roundtable discussions and other activities. A principal goal of this two-day gathering will be to highlight and address issues of concern for Hispanic New Yorkers.
Senator Martins hosted the roundtable discussion on Spanish media. “It was once again an honor to be a part of this conference, which is so important to our Hispanic community. We engaged in a meaningful and interesting discussion. I also had the opportunity to meet with some the finest young students in our state,” he said.
