Bonacic Recognized as Top “Pro-Jobs Supporter” by Business Council of New York State

Senator John J. Bonacic (R,C,I – Mount Hope) has received a strong vote of confidence from the state’s largest business advocacy organization, the Business Council of New York State, which recently named him one of the top “Pro-Jobs” state legislators.
The Business Council of New York State released its 2012 Voters’ Guide, which measures New York State Legislators’ commitment to improving the state’s economy and performance by scoring their support for key business legislation during the 2012 Legislative Session.
Senator Bonacic received a 90% “Pro Jobs” rating from the Council for supporting legislation that promoted fiscal reform and improved the state’s economic climate, including:
· A state budget that which controlled state spending and contained no new taxes or fees;
· A plan to give businesses new credits for creating jobs and hiring new employees;
· Repealing mandates that raised costs for businesses
“ I appreciate the Business Council’s recognition that the Senate, working in partnership with Governor Cuomo, continues to take meaningful actions to rebuild and revitalize New York’s economy,” said Senator John Bonacic. “I will continue to focus my efforts on job creation, promoting economic development, cutting taxes, and restoring fiscal responsibility throughout state government in order to keep New York State moving in the right direction.”
