Senator Serrano Attends Highbridge Library’s Community Spring Fair
José M. Serrano
May 18, 2012
Serrano today co-sponsored Highbridge Library’s 2nd Annual Community Spring Fair. The fair provided resources for education, health, wellness, and culture, community information, games and entertainment. Attendees learned about community programs and services the Highbridge Library provides.
“The Highbridge Library Council has once again organized a wonderful community event,” said Senator Serrano. “This fair is a great way for community residents to get informed and learn about the programs and services the Highbridge Library has to offer, while celebrating the creative and artistic talent of local artists. Many residents may not have become familiar with these resources and health care opportunities had this fair not taken place. I would like to thank the Highbridge Library Council for organizing this fantastic event. “
Deputy Bronx Borough President Aurella Greene, Council Member Diane Foster, and Assemblywoman Vanessa Gibson for co-sponsored this event.
