Senator Serrano participated in a neighborhood Youth Resource Fair in the Bronx. The event, which was organized by Bronx Borough President Ruben Díaz, Jr. and the NYPD, provided information to the community about youth services such as sports leagues, after school programs, health programs, mentoring, job opportunities and colleges.
“Resource Fairs offer a convenient opportunity for the community to get a great deal of valuable information in one location,” said Senator Serrano. “There are many wonderful and free services available to our youth, yet they’re underutilized because many people are not aware of them. This fair was a free and fun way for the community to learn about many of the opportunities available for our youth. Many thanks to Borough President Diaz and the NYPD for a great event!”
