April 26, 2012, Brooklyn, NY - Most people consider a high school prom as a rite of passage, but that experience of glitz and glamour can be denied during these tough economic times. To ease the financial burden to working families, Senator Parker has partnered with Sesame Flyers International, Lydia’s Closet, Dr. Miracles Hair Care, WBLS and others to donate hundreds of new and gently-used cocktail and evening gowns and accessories to Brooklyn high school senior young ladies.  Parents are welcomed; first come, first served. High school identification is required.
