Senator Malcolm A. Smith, Time Warner Cable Bring Neighborhood After School Program Into 21st Century With State-of The-Art Computer Equipment
(Queens, NY)- New York State Senator Malcolm A. Smith (D-St. Albans) will be joined by representatives from Time Warner Cable to bring the gift of technology to a local after school program. Students at Tehillah Word Ministries after school program will benefit from the generosity of Time Warner Cable.
At the request of Senator Smith this is the second such donation to this worthwhile program. They were previously gifted with three computers from Teens Against Crime, a local Queens organization whose mission is to enlighten and encourage youth in our community.
“This is the latest measure that I have taken to continue to ensure the academic development of the children who reside in the community which I serve. These young people will now be equipped to conduct thorough research needed for them to succeed academically,” concluded Senator Smith.
