Senator Malcolm A. Smith, Uft, Hot 97 Join Forces for Hurricane Relief

(Far Rockaway, NY)- In a continued effort to assist in post Hurricane Sandy recovery, Senator Malcolm A. Smith is slated to team up with the United Federation of Teachers, Hot 97, Hip Hop Has Heart Foundation, Lisa Evers and Street Soldiers to set up a distribution site in Far Rockaway.
Goods will be collected and distributed on site.Thousands of people are still without electricity and water. People from throughout the Peninsula are still in need of basic essentials. Food and toiletries will be delivered to individuals that are home-bound and unable to get to the site.
