Brooklyn – State Senator Martin J. Golden (R-C-I, Brooklyn) and Congressman Michael Grimm (R-C-Brooklyn/Staten Island) will serve as honorary chairs of this year’s “Help Santa Stuff a Bus Full of Toys” event to be held on Saturday, December 8, 2012, from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Cannon Ball Park, 101st Street and 4th Avenue in Brooklyn.
The event will feature an opportunity to meet Santa and his friends and ice skate in Cannon Ball Park. A Christmas Village will be set up for participants to tour, and a special mailbox for delivery to the North Pole will be available to mail your Christmas wish list. Performance by Diva Dance Studio and music will be provided by Party Express. Donations of new unwrapped toys will be collected at the event as well.
Senator Marty Golden stated, “I am again proud to serve as an honorary chair of this great fun-filled event along with my colleague, Congressman Michael Grimm. In the past, this event has been successful in collecting many toys which are then distributed to local charities to brighten the holidays for those in need in our community. Hope to see you in the park on Saturday.”
The event is presented by Dave A. & Sarta Productions.
