Golden, Malliotakis to Honor t.b.t.a. Heroes

Senator Martin Golden (R,C,I-Brooklyn) and Assemblywoman Nicole Malliotakis (R,C-Brooklyn/Staten Island) will be honoring employees of the Triborough Bridge & Tunnel Authority (TBTA) who rescued jumpers from the Verrazano-Narrows Bridge over the past two months. Officer Edward Grimm of the TBTA’s Special Operations Division rescued a man attempting to leap from the bridge on the evening of April 4th. A separate jumper was saved during the afternoon of May 1st by Lieutenant Cheryl DeSetto, Sergeant Michael Chiarelli Officers Joseph Dahl and Jared Reeves, and Giuseppe Bonamico, a civilian TBTA employee.
