Senator Martin Golden (R,C,I-Brooklyn) and Assemblywoman Nicole Malliotakis (R,C-Brooklyn, Staten Island) this past Friday dined on a New England Feast.
The New York Legislators had made a friendly Super Bowl wager with Massachusetts State Representative F. Jay Barrows, from the 1st Bristol District, which includes Gillette Stadium, the Patriots home playing field in Foxborough.
As the New York Giants defeated the New England Patriots, Golden and Malliotakis received a New England style dinner for two, that included Two 1.25 lb-1.50 lb live Legal Lobsters, one quart of New England Clam Chowder, two individual Boston Cream Pies and oyster crackers.
"The lobster and the clam chowder were delicious, and the Boston Cream pie was the perfect dessert, but nothing is better than the taste of a Super Bowl victory. Again, we are proud of our hometown team and congratulate the New York Giants, winners of Super Bowl XLVI, on a great season." said Golden and Malliotakis.
