Senator Golden Announces Easter Egg Hunts: Asks, “How Many Easter Eggs Can You Find?”

Brooklyn- State Senator Marty Golden (R-C-I, Brooklyn), in conjunction with local community organizations, is announcing plans to host two Easter Egg Hunts this year, and is inviting all community children and local families to participate. In announcing the events, Senator Golden is asking “How many Easter eggs can you find?”. The Easter Egg hunt events include games, music, activities and prizes for the children.

The Easter Egg Hunts are scheduled for:

Saturday, March 31, 2012, 11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.

Dyker Park- 13th Avenue and 86th Street

The event is being co-sponsored by Congressman Michael Grimm, the 13th Avenue Merchants and the Dyker Heights Civic Association.

Sunday, April 1, 2012, 2:00 p.m.-4:00 p.m.

Marine Park, Fillmore Avenue and Madison Place

The event is being co-sponsored by the Community Emergency Response Team and the Southwest Brooklyn Parks Task Force

Senator Golden stated, “I encourage all children and families to come out to the Dyker Park and Marine Park and share in the fun of a Easter Egg Hunt. The challenge is on to find the eggs hidden in the parks. These special events in our parks are what makes our community a great place to live, work and raise a family.”
