Brooklyn – State Senator Martin J. Golden (R-C-I, Brooklyn) today is announcing that he is kicking off his partnership to support the annual Toys for Tots campaign and is asking residents to consider donating new, unwrapped, toys to brighten the holidays for military children. Senator Golden is also continuing collections of toiletries and cleaning supplies to help those effected by Hurricane Sandy.
Senator Golden stated “Since Hurricane Sandy badly damaged communities throughout Southwest Brooklyn, many people have brought forth donations to help these families rebuild. I know that this community will continue to show tremendous support for both of these collections, including the annual Toys for Tots campaign, as we continue to witness the best of people.”
Donations will be accepted until Friday, December 14 2012 during normal business hours at Senator Golden’s District Office located at 7408-5th Avenue or at his office at 3604 Quentin Road, on Monday and Friday mornings and Wednesday afternoons.
