Senator Golden Plans Annual Fall Town Hall Meetings

Brooklyn – State Senator Martin J. Golden (R-C-I, Brooklyn) today is announcing that he will be hosting his annual Fall town hall meetings and is inviting residents of the community to attend and discuss quality of life and legislative issues.
The first town hall meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, October 23, 2012, at 7:00 p.m. at the Salt Marsh Nature Center, located at East 33rd Street and Avenue U. The next day, Wednesday, October 24, 2012, Senator Golden will host another town hall at 7:00 p.m. at Bay Ridge Preparatory School located at 8101 Ridge Boulevard.
Representatives of the New York City Department of Finance, the Department of Buildings, the Department of Transportation (10/24/2012 only), the Department of Environmental Protection, the Department of Parks and Recreation, the New York City Police Department, the New York City Fire Department and the Department of Sanitation have confirmed their attendance,
Senator Marty Golden stated, “I look forward to leading these conversations with the community so to provide an update on a variety of neighborhood issues and important legislation which I have recently been working on. I am glad to join with representatives of key City agencies to work with residents to resolve local problems in an effort to improve our quality of life. I hope you will join me at one of the meetings.”
