Volunteers to Be Recognized for Community Service

Brooklyn- Community residents who have proven to be extraordinary community residents dedicated to special events, events and organizations, will be honored at the 2012 Volunteer Appreciation Night hosted by Senator Marty Golden on Tuesday, April 3, 2012 starting at 6:30 p.m. at the Bay Ridge Manor, located at 476-76th Street.
More than 150 volunteers will be honored with New York State Senate Certificates honoring them for their efforts. Many of the volunteers have supported community events including the annual Easter Egg Hunts, the Halloween Walk, the 4th of July Picnic , the Christmas Tree Lightings and the Summer Concerts in the Parks.
Members of the media are welcome to attend.
