S.7189 consolidates bus services provided to pre-kindergarten and early intervention children under the City Department of Education.

Allowing this process enables the City DOE to draw on its extensive knowledge of bus contracts and the subsequent negotiating process to ensure that pre-kindergarten and early intervention students are afforded the same process and treatment as all other New York City schoolchildren.
