Senator Nozzolio Congratulates Geneva Boys & Girls Club Youth of the Year Tyrone Parker

Albany- Senator Nozzolio congratulated Geneva High School Freshman Tyrone Parker for being named the Geneva Boys & Girls Club Youth of the Year, presenting Tyrone with a special a special New York State Resolution in recognition of his outstanding community service, academic success and leadership qualities. As a member since he was old enough to join, Tyrone is one of the Club’s most active participants in its education and service programs, including Junior Achievement, which provides students with hands-on real world experience, and With Youth For Youth, where students discuss ideas for improving their community and organize service projects. He has made the honor roll at his school and plans on attending college to study business.
Senator Nozzolio has been a strong supporter of the Geneva Boys and Girls Club, including helping the Club establish its Community Center, where Tyrone volunteers at special events and works at the concession stand during the school year.
Tyrone was joined in Albany by Pablo Fabru, an Education Coordinator with the Boys & Girls Club.
