“Today’s announcement is great news for Western New York, the Buffalo Bills and all of us who call ourselves Bills fans. The Buffalo Bills are New York State’s only NFL franchise, and an integral part of the cultural and economic identity of Western New York,” said State Sen. Patrick M. Gallivan (R – Elma), Chairman of the Senate Committee on Commerce, Economic Development and Small Business. “Through good years and bad, this community has supported its team with an unparalleled level of passion and enthusiasm. Now the Bills organization has stepped up with Governor Cuomo and local leaders to reach a stadium improvement plan and lease agreement to keep the Bills in Buffalo while respecting taxpayer dollars.”
