McDonald Tours BOCES Industry First Program with Congressman Gibson (NY-20)

Satatoga Springs - Senator Roy McDonald joined Congressman Chris Gibson (NY-20), Assemblyman Tony Jordan and Assemblyman Jim Tedisco on a tour of the programs offered in the Industry First Campaign presented by the Washington, Saratoga, Warren Hamilton Essex BOCES.

The Industry First campaign is a collaborative effort of regional business and industry leaders that is supported by members of education, the workforce and economic development. The goal of the campaign is to bring greater focus to what industry partners need as far as skilled labor and call attention to the skills gap and the need to train more individuals in these fields. Industry First will also foster a closer link between students, adult learners and employers. 

Local business leaders were on hand along with BOCES administration and staff.
