Statement from Senator McDonald on NYRA Reorganization
May 25, 2012
“It’s important that the public’s trust is restored in New York racing. It’s especially significant that progress is made so that the upcoming Saratoga race meet is a successful one due to the considerable economic impact six weeks of racing has on Saratoga Springs, Saratoga County, the Capital Region and the North country. We will continue working to ensure the future success of racing in New York because local people, small business owners and horsemen depend on it,” said Senator McDonald.
