Statement from Senator McDonald on the State of the State Address

“I look forward to working with Governor Cuomo along with my colleagues in the Senate and Assembly this year to continue advancing a positive agenda to help people across New York. There needs to be an open and transparent budget process to create the best possible budget that will create jobs and strengthen our economy.

There are many items to cover, it’s important that we make certain many areas in Upstate receive the assistance they need along with focusing on important issues like mandate relief, education, healthcare, mental health and transportation to name a few. It’s time work and the work starts now.”
