Children's Institute Announces Funding for Early Intervention Programs

The Children's Institute is now accepting applications for funding for school year 2012-2013 to support new Primary Mental Health Project (Primary Project) programs in schools.
Primary Project is an evidence-based prevention and early intervention program designed to screen for and address school adjustment difficulties in students who are in kindergarten to third grade. Currently in 150 school sacross the state and serving approximately 3,000 students, Primary Project interventes to correct behaviors and support positive development before more costly inteventions are required.
