Senator Bill Larkin (R-C, Cornwall-on-Hudson) and the New York State Senate honored New Windsor resident Anthony Mancinelli for his accomplishment of holding the Guinness World Record for oldest practicing barber by passing a Legislative Resolution lauding his achievement.
"Tony is the best," said Senator Larkin. "It is my great pleasure to present him with a Senate Resolution honoring his Guinness World Record and I urge him to keep going for many years," said Larkin.
Mr. Mancinelli is currently 101 and has been cutting hair since he was 12. In October of 2007, Mr. Mancinelli officially broke the Guinness World Record for oldest practicing barber and he has been breaking his own world record ever since.
