Over 17,000 civilians already serve with the NYPD and there are opportunities for many more. That's why we've created a new web site, NYPDCivilianJobs.com, to make it easier to search and apply for several exciting jobs within the Department.
The site focuses on three of our most frequently available positions:
School Safety Agent, Traffic Enforcement Agent and 911 Operators
All of which offer the many benefits of working with the NYPD. Visitors to NYPDCivilianJobs.com will enjoy an engaging and user-friendly online experience that includes detailed information on:
Job Descriptions
Candidate Requirements
Salary and Benefits
Promotional Opportunities
Exam Schedules and More
Potential candidates can also have the chance to engage in "live chats" with School Safety Agent or Traffic Enforcement Agent recruiters.
The NYPD created this site to help increase awareness of some civilian job opportunities, with the goal of encouraging qualified individuals to consider a rewarding career in service to their communities. If you know someone who would make a good addition to the Department, please forward this e-mail to their attention.
For additional information please call: 212-RECRUIT.
