Staten Island Rapid Repairs Update - Registration Extended Through January 14, 2013 (Only at NYC Restoration Centers)

Dear Neighbor:

Below is the latest Rapid Repairs update for Staten Island. While online and 311 registrations are now closed, registration only at NYC Restoration Centers has been extended through January 14, 2013. Homeowners wishing to participate in Rapid Repairs must now be registered AND sign the “Right of Entry” form by January 14, 2013. Please find a flyer with information about the new registration deadline attached. A list of where Rapid Repairs teams are currently working is below. 

Rapid Repairs Registration Deadline EXTENDED at Restoration Centers – January 14, 2013:

·         Online registration and registration via 311 is now closed. 

·         We have extended registration ONLY at NYC Restoration Centers through January 14, 2013.

·         Any homeowner wishing to participate in Rapid Repairs must be registered AND sign the “Right of Entry” form by January 14, 2013.  

·         New registrants can visit a NYC Restoration Center to register and obtain the “Right of Entry” form. 

·         Existing registrants who have not yet signed the “Right of Entry” will receive a call from Rapid Repairs with instructions for signing this form. They can also obtain the form at an NYC Restoration Center or on nyc.gov. More details can be found here.

Rapid Repairs is currently working in these Staten Island neighborhoods: Parts of South Beach, Midland Beach, Oakwood and New Dorp Beach.

The attached map shows the precise areas marked by letter and number where the Rapid Repairs teams will be working.

o   For troubleshooting missed appointments, and questions about repairs currently being made in a home:

§  Between 8:00AM-5:00PM you will be connected to a Rapid Repairs Customer Service Representative working with your particular contractor.
