Residents can get rid of old, unwanted electronics free of charge
OLEAN – Senator Catharine Young announced that she has teamed up with Sunnking and SKF Aeroengine to offer a free electronics recycling event for area residents. The event will take place on Saturday, June 22 from 9 a.m. - 2 p.m. at SKF Aeroengine, One Maroco Road, Falconer.
“Most of us have old electronics that either no longer work or have become outdated and rendered useless. This event provides community members with a safe, easy and environmentally-friendly way to dispose of the electronics items that take up space in our homes. Recycling events like this hosted by Sunnking have been wildly successful throughout the state, and I hope our residents take full advantage of it,” said Senator Catharine Young (R,C,I-Olean).
Acceptable items include, but are not limited to, laptops and desktop computers, televisions and monitors, printers, scanners, copiers and small appliances. For a full list of allowed items, visit www.sunnking.com.
