Senator Charles J. Fuschillo, Jr. (R-Merrick) announced that the New York State Senate recently passed legislative resolutions he sponsored honoring Massapequa residents Michael Puleio, Spencer Schiappa, Ryan Smith, Lawrence Vedilago, and Timothy Duerr for attaining the rank of Eagle Scout.
“After working hard for many years dedicating hours and hours to serving the community, these five young men achieved a goal that only a select few ever attain; the prestigious rank of Eagle Scout. I congratulate them on earning this honor and am pleased that their accomplishments were recognized by the New York State Senate,” said Senator Fuschillo.
These hardworking and committed young men have been involved in Scouting for many years, have lived up to Scouting's ideals and have attained all of the necessary achievements, including completion of community service projects, which were successfully planned, developed and executed.
With the Senate passage of these legislative resolutions, Michael, Spencer, Ryan, Lawrence and Timothy’s names and achievements will forever be part of the New York State Senate’s official record.
