Senator Charles J. Fuschillo, Jr. (R-Merrick) will be partnering with Nassau County Executive Ed Mangano in sponsoring a free Senior ID Card Program in Massapequa Park.
The program will be held from 12:00 pm- 3:00 pm on Tuesday, April 2nd at the Brady Park Senior Center, located at 1000 Lake Shore Drive in Massapequa Park. Nassau County residents ages 65 and over are eligible to participate and receive a free senior ID card. No appointments are necessary.
The program allows seniors to obtain a free wallet-sized ID card which includes a photo, the holder’s personal contact information (name, address, phone number, date of birth), and an emergency contact name and phone number which could be useful to emergency responders. Seniors can carry the card in their wallet so that emergency responders will know who to contact if the senior is in an emergency situation and cannot communicate.
Residents who would like more information about the Free Senior ID Card program on April 2nd can call Senator Fuschillo’s office at 516-882-0630.
