Senator Charles J. Fuschillo, Jr. (R-Merrick) and Assemblyman David G. McDonough (R-North Merrick) recently attended the Merrick Fire Department’s annual installation ceremony.
Senator Fuschillo and Assemblyman McDonough offered their congratulations and best wishes to the Department’s new Chief, Michael Gargen, Assistant Chief Christopher Clement and the rest of the incoming officers. Senator Fuschillo and Assemblyman McDonough also thanked outgoing Chief T.J. Fernandez for his service.
Additionally, Senator Fuschillo and Assemblyman McDonough thanked Robert Munson for his twenty-five years of service and Jeffrey Wortman and Carl Ferrentino for their fifty years of service to the Department and the Merrick community.
