SENATOR FUSCHILLO CONGRATULATES FREEPORT HIGH SCHOOL BASKETBALL COACH ON 300th CAREER WIN

     Senator Charles J. Fuschillo, Jr. (R-Merrick) recently congratulated Freeport High School basketball coach, and Merrick resident, Bob DeBonis for earning his 300th career win. Coach DeBonis, who has coached at Freeport for 21 years, secured this milestone victory earlier this year when Freeport defeated Carey High School by a score of 64-53.

     “Coach DeBonis should be very proud of this great accomplishment. He has spent his entire career shaping the lives of young men to help them excel both on and off the court. Bob DeBonis is not just a successful coach; he is a role model as well. It is wonderful to see him achieve this milestone and I wish him continued success,” said Senator Fuschillo.
