Senator Fuschillo Congratulates Wantagh Student for Award Winning “Amazing Animal” Photo

     Senator Charles J. Fuschillo, Jr. (R-Merrick) recently congratulated Samantha Darr, a nine year old girl from Wantagh, for being chosen as a first place winner in his “Amazing Animals” Photo Contest. The contest gave residents of all ages a fun way to show their appreciation for animals. 

     Samantha, who will be starting fourth grade at Forest Lake Elementary School in the fall, was chosen as a first place winner for her photo submission featuring her cat, Mickey D. The cat is named Mickey D because Samantha’s parents found it as an orphaned kitten in the parking lot of the McDonalds in Wantagh.
