Senator Fuschillo & Long Island Cares to Sponsor Free Supply Distribution Programs in Massapequa & Wantagh to Help Residents Affected by Hurricane Sandy

Senator Charles J. Fuschillo, Jr. (R-Merrick) and Long Island Cares will be sponsoring free supply distribution programs in Massapequa and Wantagh to help residents affected by Hurricane Sandy.
The programs will take place at the following locations:
• Friday, January 18th at Anchor Park, located near the corner of Admiral Road and Spar Lane in South Massapequa, between 11 am and 2 pm.
• Tuesday, January 22nd at Wantagh Park, located at 1 King Road in Wantagh, just off of Merrick Road, between 11 am and 2 pm.
At both programs, Long Island Cares will distributing the following items free of charge to families who have been affected by Hurricane Sandy:
• Cleaning supplies
• Protective masks
• Trash bags
• Heaters
• Blankets
• Water
• Non-perishable food
• Pet food
• Plastic storage bins
Long Island Cares will serve individuals on a first come, first served basis while supplies last. No appointments are required.
