Senator Charles J. Fuschillo, Jr. (R-Merrick), Town of Babylon Supervisor Rich Schaffer, and Town of Babylon Clerk Carol Quirk will be sponsoring a free Senior ID Card Program in Copiague.
The program will be held on Wednesday, June 26th from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm at the Tanner Park Senior Center, located on Baylawn Avenue in Copiague. All Town of Babylon residents ages 60 and over are eligible to participate and receive a free senior ID card.
The program allows seniors to obtain a free wallet-sized senior ID card which includes a photo and the holder’s personal data, physician’s contact information, and emergency contact phone numbers which could be useful to paramedics in a medical emergency. Allergies, medications, blood type and other vital information can also be printed on the cards.
