Senator Charles J. Fuschillo, Jr. (R-Merrick) today congratulated all of the local students who helped raise awareness about environmental protection by submitting entries to the New York State Senate’s Earth Day Poster Contest.
The contest is an annual event for children in grades K-6. Children create posters to raise awareness about how reducing, reusing, and recycling can help protect our environment and our planet.
“Each of the students who participated in this contest submitted an outstanding and creative poster which illustrated the importance of reducing, reusing, and recycling. They should be very proud of the job they did in helping to reinforce the steps everyone can take to protect our environment,” said Senator Fuschillo.
