Senator Charles J. Fuschillo, Jr. (R-Merrick) recently visited Mepham High School in Bellmore to thank students for once again participating in his “Extend the Holidays” toy drive.
“Extend the Holidays” is an annual toy drive that Senator Fuschillo organizes for the benefit of children in Winthrop Hospital’s Pediatric Center. Mepham students once again collected new, unwrapped toys for children of all ages. These toys will be delivered to the hospital after the holidays so that children can experience the joys of receiving a new toy after the holiday season and throughout the year.
“Mepham’s students are going to make many of Winthrop’s child patients very happy with all the toys they collected. I appreciate them participating in this program once again and working so hard to help children in Winthrop Hospital,” said Senator Fuschillo.
