Senator Fuschillo & Town of Hempstead Officials Congratulate Merrick’s Small Businessperson of the Year

     Senator Charles J. Fuschillo, Jr. (R-Merrick), Town of Hempstead Supervisor Kate Murray, Councilman Gary Hudes, and Town Clerk Nasrin Ahmad recently congratulated Merrick Chamber of Commerce member Margaret Biegelman on being named 2013 Small Businessperson of the Year. 

     Margaret is a professional Licensed Associate Real Estate Broker at Douglas Elliman Real Estate with over 10 years of experience. A longtime Merrick resident, Margaret serves in a number of community service organizations, including the Merrick Chamber of Commerce, the Merrick Kiwanis Club, and the Merrick American Legion Auxiliary.

     "Margaret has been serving the Merrick community both professionally and personally for many years,” said Senator Fuschillo. “It is a pleasure to congratulate her for earning this well-deserved honor.”
