Senator Fuschillo Visits Jones Beach & Ocean Parkway to View Progress on Superstorm Sandy Repairs

Senator Charles J. Fuschillo, Jr. (R-Merrick) recently visited Jones Beach State Park to view the progress on the repairs to the damage caused by Superstorm Sandy.
Senator Fuschillo and Jones Beach State Park Director Sue Giuliani viewed the ongoing repairs throughout the park, including the boardwalk, Nikon at Jones Beach Theatre, fishing piers, and the west end boat basin, According to the State Office of Parks, Recreation, and Historic Preservation, the repairs are on schedule to be completed by Memorial Day Weekend, in time for the summer beach season.
Additionally, Senator Fuschillo also visited the Ocean Parkway with officials from the New York State Department of Transportation to view progress on the repairs to the damage caused by Superstorm Sandy. According to the Department of Transportation, the repairs are proceeding on schedule.
