NEW YORK -- At this critical time of transition in New York City, State Senator Daniel Squadron will host his annual town hall meetings to bring together constituents from around the district for an evening of participatory governing, this Monday, November 18th at 6:00PM in Lower Manhattan and 7:30PM in Brooklyn.
The town halls serve as a follow up to Squadron's annual Community Convention, providing constituents with a transparent and direct way of engaging, shaping, and holding accountable their local government.
This spring, hundreds of community members attended Squadron's Community Convention and provided input on issues from education and open space, to housing and transit. At Monday's town halls, Squadron will provide updates on the issues raised at the Convention and give constituents the opportunity to shape next steps in Albany and in the community.
Please RSVP by emailing squadron@nysenate.gov.
