Never Forget
Dean G. Skelos
September 11, 2013
It has been 12 years since nearly 3,000 lives were tragically cut short by the September 11th terrorist attacks. So many of our neighbors across Long Island and throughout our state were impacted by the events of that horrific day. As I speak with them, I continue to be amazed at their endurance. For the family, friends and loved ones of the victims, this day requires even more strength and courage. Today is a day to ensure that no victim of 9/11 is ever forgotten and that their memories are always cherished.
I hope you will join me in remembering and honoring the lives of those who were lost on that tragic day, and in continuing to demonstrate that we remain the strongest, most compassionate and most resilient nation in the world.
Thank you, and God Bless America.
