 SENATOR RIVERA ISSUES STATEMENT ON THE CITY COUNCIL'S APPROVAL OF THE KINGSBRIDGE NATIONAL ICE CENTER PROJECT

(Bronx, NY) - State Senator Gustavo Rivera released the following statement today in response to City Council's approval of the Kingsbridge National Ice Center Project: 
 
"I am extremely pleased that the City Council has approved the Kingsbridge National Ice Center project. This project will not only revitalize the historic Bronx landmark and transform it into an economic engine for the Bronx, but it will provide living wage jobs, community programs and encourage new recreational activities for our youth. I commend Councilman Cabrera and his colleagues for supporting the passage of a development project that will help further the progress of our Borough."
